I have been thinking about love lately and how the word is used so loosely these days that it is difficult to figure out when one is sincere.
I have a bad habit like many people of using "love" to describe my fondness for food, clothes, TV shows, and several other inanimate things.
I have been checking myself lately because I have realized that love is a decision...not a feeling. It is a decision to be generous, accept, encourage, forgive and defend that someone with whom you share a special bond.
Sometimes the one that you love most makes you angry, sad or disappointed however, your decision to love them forces you to work through the issues.
Let today be the day that you decide to love like your life depended on it.
Love is a decision...choose it.
